Link popularity is what determines the POWER each of your pages will be given, but whats the best way to go about it?

   Once you have already optimized each of the pages on your website, targeting certain keywords... it is imperitive that you seek out other similar web sites to yours who are willing to exchange links with you, or even for them to simply get them to go ahead and do it for free.

The quality of each link coming into your website basically works on a point system. One website could have 100 incoming links, while another could have 15 better quality links to theirs and come out on top. Its quality vs. quantity here. To get these links from the bigger sites out there might take a little bit of work... but in the end its worth it. Ive had times where a single link to my site, was more powerful than 20 links from other websites. And again that is all part of the system each company uses.

The link placement on their site is vital, if you have a link listed near the bottom of someones page it can be valued very low. There are times when 100 links, can have less impact than one single link on a better site.

The best way to go about this is to scour the Internet for similar websites to your own, automatically add their link to your site, and let them know you would greatly appreciate if theyd link back to you.

Send e-mails to all these companies, and make sure you keep the messages personalized, so the reader will actually take you seriously instead of a spammer. Be genuine, and youll be surprise at the number of quality links youll receive...
Just make sure you stay dedicated, many will reject your offer, and that is just human nature. Keep yout head up, no matter how hard it gets.
